Current Watches, Warnings, and Advisories in effect for the Miami Valley:
- An Areal Flood Warning for Logan and Shelby counties is in effect until 1 p.m.; and for Auglaize and Mercer counties until 1:30 p.m.
- A Flash Flood Watch has been issued for Auglaize, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clinton, Darke, Greene, Logan, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Preble, Shelby and Warren in Ohio; Union and Wayne in Indiana, until 8 p.m.
- A Flood Warning valid at 2 a.m. Thursday for the Great Miami River at Sidney is extended until 11 a.m. Saturday
- A few showers overnight
- More showers on Thursday
- Unsettled pattern persists through the weekend
OVERNIGHT: Look for showers and downpours and a few rumbles of thunder, but the severe threat has ended, Storm Center 7 Chief Meteorologist McCall Vrydaghs said. Any additional rain will continue to keep the threat of flooding high. Temps will be falling through the 60s.
THURSDAY: More showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms likely, but a severe threat is not expected. There is higher threat for flooding. High temperatures will be in the lower 70s.
FRIDAY: It will be partly sunny and warm with temperatures in the upper 70s for the first day of summer. Showers and storms are possible tonight.
SATURDAY: Conditions will be partly to mostly cloudy, warm and humid with the chance of scattered pop-up showers and storms. Highs will be in the lower 80s.
SUNDAY: It will be partly to mostly cloudy, warm and humid with the chance of scattered pop-up showers and storms. Highs will be in the lower 80s.
MONDAY: Mostly cloudy, warm, windy and muggy with the chance of a few more showers and storms. Highs in the middle 80s.
