Cedar Bog Nature Preserve will hold its Summer Solstice from 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday.
The event will include crafts, games, worm races and an up-close look at nature for visitors.
Naturalists will explain live exhibits, including butterflies, frogs, skunks, turtles, pond life and quail chicks. All animals are species that live at Cedar Bog.
Nature games and face painting will be offered as well as a craft for kids to create. Drinks and snacks will be offered for sale to help support Cedar Bog.
Admission is $5 for adults and $4 for children 6 years and older. Members of the Ohio Historical Society or the Cedar Bog Association are free. STAFF REPORT
