Kings’ mascot Fastpaw ready for Opening Day in Springfield

The Champion City Kings mascot Fastpaw is ready to take the field season.

The mascot for the Springfield-based collegiate summer baseball team received a sports physical at the Rocking Horse Community Health Center on Monday afternoon.

The Kings, members of the Prospect League, will open the season at Carleton Davidson Stadium on Memorial Day, May 30.
