Honest Abe to preach at Clark County church

The Plattsburg United Church of Christ will welcome to the pulpit none other than Abraham Lincoln — also known as John Cooper — on Feb. 14 in honor of Presidents’ Day Weekend.

Cooper had been portraying and doing programs as Lincoln for a number of years, including the Lincoln attraction at the Ohio State Fair. The morning message will be a mix of some of “Honest Abe’s” history, as well as some of his personal beliefs as a man of faith.
