Halloween Party

Fricker’s in Springfield is celebrating Halloween early with a party, 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at 1616 Upper Valley Pike in Springfield.

The party will feature a costume contest with the “best costume” winning a Fricker’s gift basket, many giveaways, drink specials, and Halloween music.

Pumpkin Party

A fall festival will kick off trick-or-treat night in New Carlisle, noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at Meadow View Growers, 755 N. Dayton Lakeview Rd.

The festival will feature free hayrides, pumpkin decorating contests, costume contests, a pet parade, and several food trucks.

HallowFest

Springfield Promise Neighborhood will host a festival, 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Clifton Avenue Church of God, 1408 Clifton Ave. in Springfield.

There will be a haunted hallway, make your own trick-or-treat bag activity, and candy. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes.

Admission is free.

“A Nightmare Before Christmas” will begin at 8:15 p.m.

Trunk or Treat

A trunk or treat is 4 to 6 p.m. at Central Christian Church, 1504 Villa Road in Springfield.

There will be hot dogs, popcorn, drinks, a photo booth, and live music featuring Refit with Riley.

Come Find Art

The Springfield Museum of Art, 107 Cliff Park Rd. in Springfield, will host a free family event, 2 to 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

This event will feature time spent in the interactive art gallery, an art project, and family discussions about the various works in the museum.

Fall Tour

Fall tours at the Ferncliff Cemetery, 501 W. McCreight Ave. in Springfield, are 10:30 a.m. to noon, noon to 1:30 p.m., 1:30 to 3 p.m., 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and 4:30 to 6 p.m.

The tour will take place with a free trolley ride. Reservations are required with limited spots left. To reserve a spot call 937-322-3491.

Champaign County:

Farmer Market

The Champaign County Famers Market is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at E. Market St. in Urbana.

There will be several vendors selling produce, crafts, flowers, and homemade goods.

Trunk or Treat

A trunk or treat is 5:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday at Urbana United Methodist Church, 238 N. Main St. in Urbana.

There will be popcorn, hot chocolate, water, a magic show, and a raffle for Buckeye tickets.
