The Clark County Municipal Court building will be closed to “only persons with official business,” due to COVID-19 concerns, according to an emergency order issued by Judge Thomas Trempe.

Those permitted in the building include: parties in a court case, subpoenaed witnesses, crime victims, jurors, attorney and other persons conducting official business with the office of the Clark County Commission, Probate Court, Clerk of Court Title Division, Clark County Prosecuting Attorney, public defenders, city prosecutor, Clerk of Municipal Court and the probation department, the order said.

“Persons entering (the Clark County Municipal Courthouse) may be subject to health care screening or non-invasive testing, including the taking of body temperature by touch-free thermometer, and exclusion from entry to (Clark County Municipal Courthouse) based upon the results of such screening or testing,” the order said.
