Two Clark County government departments will reopen after closing last month because an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.

The Clark County Community and Economic Development Department and the Clark County Personnel Department, located at the Springview Government Center at 3130 E. Main St. in Springfield, will reopen to the public on Thursday, July 9, according to a statement from the county.

The Board of Clark County Commissioners closed the departments on June 30 after the employee received word they had tested positive for the coronavirus. Contact tracing was conducted by the Clark County Combined Health District and no other employees tested positive, the statement said.
