Clark, Champaign students take part in virtual spirit week

Several schools in Clark and Champaign counties are hosting a virtual spirit week for students to take part in while learning from home.

The district spirit weeks will take place through Thursday, April 9.

The Southeastern Local School District is continuing to connect with students online through their virtual spirit week.

Monday was “Dress to Unimpress-Pajama Day” for students to relax and work from home in their comfy pajamas.

Tuesday was “Crazy Hair Don’t Care Day” for students to roll out of bed and show their crazy hair, not matter how messy it is.

Wednesday is “Twinning is Winning Day” for students to coordinate with their friends from home on a matching outfit.

Thursday is “Trojan Pride Day” for students to put on their best red and gray outfit.

Urbana High School's Counseling and Athletic departments are hosting their virtual spirit week because even though they are not together, does not mean they can't have fun together.

Monday was “Positivity Monday” for students to wear a shirt with a positive message on it or hang a sign on the wall behind them.

Tuesday was “Favorite Sports Day” for students to wear a shirt of their favorite team or something that showcases their own passions.

Wednesday is “#WeAreAllInThisTogether” for students to wear red, white and blue to show pride in America.

Thursday is “Climber Spirit Day” for students to wear their best maroon and white as a Hillclimber Family.

Triad Local School District has had fun with the virtual spirit week and think it's important to continue making contact with students.

Monday was “Make-A-Meal Monday” for students to make any meal and share what they made.

Tuesday was “Bring-A-Buddy to Class” for students to bring their pet, sibling or favorite stuffed animal to class with them.

Wednesday is “Music Day” for students to show off their musical talents by dressing up as their favorite singer or composer, practice their instrument or sing their favorite tune, share a Tik Tok, or share their favorite band or song they enjoy while at home.

Thursday is “Let’s Do the Pledge of Allegiance Cardinal Style” for students to dress in their favorite Cardinal attire and go outside to use a small garden flag or bring up a picture of one on their electronics to share a video of them saying the Pledge of Allegiance.
