Condition of toddler run over by minivan in Greene County is unknown

UPDATE @ 8:03 p.m.: The condition of the toddler run over by a minivan at the residence on South Charleston Road in Ross Twp., near Jamestown, is not known, Greene County Sheriff's Sgt. Beth Prall said.

MedFlight has taken the boy to Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.

Prall said Investigators are reconstructing the accident and are working to determine who was driving the minivan that hit the child, believed to be "two-ish.”

INITIAL REPORT

Deputies, a medic unit and MedFlight were dispatched on a report that a van had run over a child, believed to be 18 months old, in Ross Twp. near the Greene County village of Jamestown.

The incident at a residence in the 1800 block of South Charleston Road was reported just before 7 p.m.

The child reportedly was pale, witnesses told Greene County Sheriff's dispatch.
