The car’s driver was taken to an area hospital in unknown condition, and at nearly 11 p.m., Old Clifton Road was still shut down, according to the Springfield Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Dispatch records said that the driver was transported to a hospital by CareFlight, but it was unclear whether this was from the scene or from one hospital to another.
