The New Carlisle City Council early voting results are in and the race appears to be tight.
New Carlisle residents were asked to pick four candidates for city council between five people on Tuesday.
Current Mayor Mike Lowrey received roughly 23 percent of the vote, while council member Amy Hopkins also received roughly 23 percent of the vote, Dale Grimm received roughly 19 percent of the vote and Linda Nowakowski received a little over 19 percent.
According to unofficial election results, those four candidates looked poised to secure seats on New Carlisle’s council.
A fifth candidate, current Vice-Mayor William Lindsey secured roughly 16 percent of the vote.
