Trailer crashes into Midas in Springfield

UPDATE @ 9:40 a.m.

A dump truck with an empty trailer attached was traveling on Bechtle Avenue in Springfield when the trailer became detached and continued rolling until it crashed into a Midas store. The trailer also hit a pole in its path before crashing and narrowly missed striking a woman and her baby. Two people who were inside the business were transported to the hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the dump truck did not know his trailer had detached and eventually retraced his path finding the trailer stuck in a Midas window.
