Coronvirus: Clark County government offices to move to ‘virtual operations’

The Board of Clark County Commissioners agreed on Wednesday morning to move all government offices to ‘virtual operations’ beginning tomorrow.

The shift will mean government employees will be encouraged to work-from-home, including conducting all meetings virtually or by phone, Clark County spokesperson Michael Cooper said.

Cooper said offices will be open to the public on an appointment-only basis, but residents are encouraged to conduct business by phone or email.

The change is part of efforts to control spread of the coronavirus in the county.
