Tecumseh High School scholarship recipients

The following graduation candidates accepted a minimum of $5,000 in renewable and nonrenewable scholarships:

Rebecca Brittain, daughter of Brian and Kim Brittain, will attend Wittenberg University and major in early childhood education. She accepted a total of $13,000 in scholarships from Wittenberg University.

Zeke Eier, son of Craig and Renee Eier, will attend University of the Cumberlands and major in speech pathology. He accepted a total of $17,500 in scholarships from University of the Cumberlands.

Taylor Gill, son of Jeff and Kim Gill, will attend University of Dayton and major in mechanical engineering. He accepted a total of $14,000 in scholarships from University of Dayton.

Bethany Goff, daughter of Amanda Ketner, will attend Mount Vernon Nazarene University and major in intervention specialist. She accepted a total of $10,750 in scholarships from Mount Vernon Nazarene University, the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship, and Best Buy.

Jonathan Griffith, son of Donovan and Christine Griffith and Casey and Cynthia McQuaid, will attend Dartmouth College and major in economics and government. He accepted a total of $48,637 in scholarships from Dartmouth College, the Tecumseh Education Foundation ROTC scholarship, and the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship.

Deana Heitzman, daughter of Michael and Lisa Heitzman, will attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and major in aerospace engineering and Arabic language. She accepted a total of $10,500 in scholarships from the Tecumseh Education Foundation, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and the Tecumseh Education Foundation ROTC scholarship.

Miranda Jacobs, daughter of Stephen and Ingrid Jacobs, will attend University of Toledo and major in nursing. She accepted a total of $14,750 in scholarships from University of Toledo, Miami Valley Chapter of the Ohio Credit Union League, Springfield Foundation - Ralph and Kathryn Harman Scholarship and the Spencer Scholarship, the Tecumseh Education Foundation Herman D. Brosey Scholarship, and Springfield Rotary Club.

Travis Jones, son of Fre-Leigh Jones, will attend Otterbein University and major in accounting. He accepted a total of $13,250 in scholarships from Otterbein University, the New Carlisle Optimist Club, and the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship.

Madison King, daughter of Kevin and Shelia King, will attend Eastern Kentucky University and major in elementary education. She accepted a total of $9,562 in scholarships from Eastern Kentucky University, Union Club, the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship, Tecumseh Education Foundation Roger Pankake Scholarship, and Mervin Britton scholarship.

Neil Lindsey, son of Tim and Ginny Lindsey, will attend Bluffton University and his major is undecided. He accepted a total of $11,000 in scholarships from Bluffton University.

Michael McKee, son of Don and Melissa McKee, will attend Wittenberg University and major in business. He accepted a total of $22,440 in scholarships from Wittenberg University.

Amanda Michelle Neri, daughter of Michael and Rebecca Neri, will attend DePauw University and major in chemistry. She accepted a total of $20,250 in scholarships from DePauw University and Springfield Foundation.

Phillip Nolasco, son of Rob and Tammy Nolasco, will attend Bluffton University and his major is undecided. He accepted a total of $8,000 in scholarships from Bluffton University.

Jasmine Redman, daughter of Dan and Erika Seitz, will attend Bowling Green State University and her major is undecided. She accepted a total of $13,000 in scholarships from Bowling Green State University.

Scott Rogers, son of Craig and Toni Rogers, will attend Savannah State University and major in business. He accepted scholarships in excess of $5,000 from Savannah State University.

Anna Catherine Studebaker, daughter of Paul and Lori Studebaker, will attend Bellarmine University, and major in art administration to become a museum curator. She accepted a total of $11,250 in scholarships from Bellarmine University and Springfield Foundation.

Samuel Joseph Studebaker, son of Paul and Lori Studebaker, will possibly attend Wright State University with an undecided major. He accepted a total of $5,400 in scholarships from Wright State University and Springfield Foundation.

Grant Warden, son of Joseph and Joni Warden, will attend Wittenberg University and major in pre-med. He accepted a total of $19,750 in scholarships from Wittenberg University and the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship.

Allison West, daughter of Mike and Tisha West, will attend Point Park University and major in forensics. She accepted a total of $5,000 in scholarships from Point Park University.

The following graduation candidates were awarded renewable and nonrenewable scholarships under $5,000:

Jennifer Burk, daughter of Kennon and Rebecca Burk, will attend Wright State University and major in middle childhood education. She accepted a total of $3,000 in scholarships from Wright State University, the Tecumseh Education Association Marilue Jeffers Memorial, and the Tecumseh Education Foundation Sherry Street Memorial scholarship.

Casandra Cantrell, daughter of Ron Cantrell and Brenda Blevins, will attend Urbana University and major in early childhood education. She accepted a total of $1250 in scholarships from the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship Fund.

Natalie Paige Fenner, daughter of Tara Clark, will attend Wright State University and major in nursing. She accepted a total of $1250 in scholarships from the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship.

Jaymie Hutson, daughter of Ernie and Nancy Hutson, will attend Wright State University and major in social work. She accepted a total of $3,500 in scholarships from Wright State University and the New Carlisle Rotary.

Shaya Jamison, daughter of Jamie Jamison and Kristina Doyen, will attend Kettering College of Medical Arts and major in radiology technology. She accepted a total of $1,000 in scholarships from Tecumseh Education Foundation.

Michael Jones, son of John and Regina Jones, will attend The Ohio State University and major in accounting. He accepted a total of $1,000 in scholarships from the New Carlisle Rotary.

Chelsey Lewis, daughter of Thomas and Jennifer Lewis, will attend Bradford Vet Tech Institute and major in veterinarian tech. She accepted a total of $1,000 in scholarships from Tecumseh Education Foundation.

Mikayla Lyons, daughter of Denise Mclain, will attend Wright State University and major in nursing. She accepted a total of $2,250 in scholarships from the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship and the Tecumseh Education Foundation Class of 1981 Scholarship.

Allison Moore, daughter of Chad Frank and Lysa Subler, will attend Wright State University and with an undecided major. She accepted a total of $1,250 in scholarships from the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship.

Savannah Neeley, daughter of Sam and Dana Neeley and Tracy and Valerie Shopshire, will attend the Art Institute of Ohio and major in visual communications. She accepted a total of $1,000 in scholarships from Tecumseh Education Foundation.

Jacob Nickell, son of Jeff and Debbie Nickell, will attend The Ohio State University and major in physical therapy. He accepted a total of $3,000 in scholarships from the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame, Inc, the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship and the New Carlisle Rotary.

Kaitlyn Novinger, daughter of Dannel Prater, will attend Eastern Kentucky University and major in speech pathology. She accepted a total of $4,250 in scholarships from the Union Club, the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship and the New Carlisle Rotary.

Alexandra Perry, daughter of Robert & Laura Perry, will attend Point Park University and major in journalism. She accepted a total of $1,000 in scholarships from Tecumseh Education Foundation.

Bradley Phares, son of David and Kimberly Phares, will attend Wright State University and major in accounting. He accepted a total of $1,000 in scholarships from Tecumseh Education Foundation.

Rebecca Philpot, daughter of Claudia Sue Philpot, will attend Clark State Community College and major in medical sciences. She accepted a total of $1,000 in scholarships from Tecumseh Education Foundation.

Christa Robertson, daughter of Kim Chandler, will attend Sinclair Community College and major in nursing. She accepted a total of $2,000 from the Andrew Reid Memorial scholarship and the Tecumseh Education Foundation Reed Memorial Scholarship.

Jacob Sparks, son of Darrell and Belinda Sparks, will attend Sinclair Community College with an undecided major. He accepted a total of $500 from the Springfield Foundation Howard Zeller Scholarship.

Brittany Sanning, daughter of Carla Sanning, will attend Bowling Green State University and major in early childhood education and special education. She accepted a total of $4,250 in scholarships from Bowling Green State University and the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship.

Wiley Wells, son of Wiley and Kailene Wells, will attend Wright State University and major in mechanical engineering. He accepted a total of $3,750 in scholarships from Wright State University and the Garth Q. Briggs Scholarship.
