I run a small business. I will not hire someone who smokes because they take too many breaks. It is not cost-effective.
Mail carriers have a much harder job than newspaper carriers.
Shame on any and all schools that do not recognize all of their students for their accomplishments, whether in academics, sports, etc. Little things like this help build a child as they grow. Why is it that the easiest things are so hard?

I bought a new pair of American-made shoes today. The U.S.-made ones were vastly outnumbered by the foreign-made, so I had to read a lot of tags, but I finally found a pair I liked. They cost a little bit more than a comparable set made in China or elsewhere, but not that much more, and I believe they're better quality and will last much longer.
I used to start my day with coffee and the opinion page and I really enjoyed the combo. But lately, I'm not sure if it has to do with the change in the administration in Ohio or the News-Sun, I just don't care about the opinion page anymore. What happened?

I am tired of hearing Channel 7 talk about Wright State and the Dayton Flyers. Can't they mention Wittenberg at least once a week?
