It's official: President Obama is the worst president ever. Stimulus, failed; auto bailout, failed, Obamacare, failed; 10 percent unemployment, highest ever; tripled national debt, raising taxes again. And he inherited none of it!
I very much vote Republican, but I am not in favor of the keeping the tax breaks for people making over $200,000.
A second term for President Obama would be damaging to the country, given his intention of running our country into the ground as much as possible. Our country needs a president who inspires and motivates instead of Mr. Obama's constantly talking our country down.
The big corporations that send our jobs out of the country are responsible for our high unemployment.
It's not the opinionated thoughts of a Republican that voted the tax levies down. I have taken a great hit in pay because of low freight to be hauled. I have barely had enough money to pay the bills and none to purchase food. I am not on public assistance. We home can a lot of our food. I have to learn to adapt with my short fall. I can not create a deficit or add a tax levy for myself. We are being bled dry now, it has to stop.
Things won't start to get better in Washington until the lobbyists and special interests groups are gone!
I recently started work at an award-winning nursing home in Springfield. I found residents with open sores that were caused by lying in their own bodily fluids too long. It sickened me, but was told that unless the residents had family and visitors, we were to only bath them once a week, if time allowed. Residents often lay in their own filth for days without even a change of sheets. This should enrage you, as we could all be there someday. I was told that nursing homes are public buildings, so be careful what we say, as anyone could walk in. I will do what I can, but without the public actually getting involved, nothing will change.
The Meditation Room article was such a blast I am passing it around. Keep up the good work!
Thank you, Jim Bebbington for your article on John Legend. I have never seen him or even heard him sing, but I very much like to read about him and/or anyone else from our area who makes it big. I think it is wonderful that we have him for a celebrity and he can say he is from Springfield, Ohio. I don't feel that way just because he is black, because I am not.
