The B-52s are headed to Dayton for a summer concert

The Rose Music Center in Huber Heights announced that The B-52s will bring their 40th Anniversary Tour to the venue Sunday, Sept. 8.

The band, known for the musical hits “Rock Lobster” and “Love Shack,” among others, will tour with special guests Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark and Berlin.

Selling over 20 million albums worldwide, The B-52s — Fred Schneider [vocals], Kate Pierson [vocals], Cindy Wilson [vocals], and Keith Strickland [guitar, drums, keys, programming]— have quietly impacted alternative music, fashion, and culture over the course of four-plus decades, according to a press release.

Tickets went on sale Friday, April 12 at Ticketmaster.com and RoseMusicCenter.com.  Prices range from $43 to $73.
