The news about Kesha and Lukasz Gottwald (a.k.a Dr. Luke) began making headlines after the pop star opened up about alleged sexual abuse by Dr. Luke.
Kesha was signed to Dr. Luke's Kemosabe Entertainment label, and ever since her lawsuit, her career has taken a significant hit.
"He threatened that if she ever mentioned the rape to anyone, he would shut her career down," the suit alleged, "and otherwise destroy not only her life but her entire family's lives as well."
Dr. Luke has denied all wrongdoing.
Since Kesha's legal filing, fans have chimed in to support Kesha, whose absence on social media and sound waves has been the elephant in the room of entertainment. Taylor Swift even donated $250,000 to Kesha in a "show of support."

According to her lawsuit, "Dr. Luke had 'physically and psychologically damaged' her to the point that continuing to work under her contract with him would be 'life threatening.'"
