>>TOP 10: Relive Braxton miller's top moments as a Buckeye
Ezekiel Elliott: Overall - 80 | Zeke is the 2nd highest ranked rookie behind Jacksonville Jaguars defensive linemen Jalen Ramsey. He is currently the highest rated Running Back for the Dallas Cowboys. With Darren McFadden and Alfred Morris having 79 ratings, will Zeke hold on to his top spot?
Joey Bosa: Overall - 79 | Bosa is the highest ranked rookie Defensive Lineman so it is a no-brainer that he will be in the starting lineup in Madden '17. While a 79 rating is not within the Top 10 in defensive end ratings, his potential for higher ratings in the futre could make him a potential trade favorite in Franchise Mode.
Eli Apple: Overall - 76 | THe former Buckeyes cornerback is 4th on the depth chart for the New York Giants, which means Apple will be highlighted in the Dime and Quarter defensive schemes. Apple could move up in the depth chart as former Cincinnati Bengals CB Leon Hall is an older cornerback and the ratings from that position tend to decline quick.
Cardale Jones: Overall - 69 | The former Buckeyes QB is raked 3rd on the Buffalo Bills depth chart. While his current ratings are low, if he plays well during the preseason, those numbers could rise.
Nate Ebner: Overall - 65 | After competing in Rio for the US Rugby team, Ebner is ready to get back on the field for the New England Patriots. He will have to perform well during preseason to increase his low overall ratings in Madden.
Notable: Ohio native Luke Kuechly tied Rob Gronkowski, Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller, and 2016 NFL Defensive Player of the Year J.J. Watt with a 99 overall rating, the highest rating possible in Madden '17.
It should be noted that these are the ratings for the gameβs launch. During the season, EA will adjust the ratings based on the playerβs real-life performance.
EA Sports has provided an in-depth view of all the player ratings from the game on their website.
