Nominations for the third Dayton Concours d’Elegance at Carillon Park will close in one week. More than 125 automobiles and motorcycles have already been accepted. Marmon, Morgan and Mini will be the featured marques for the Concours, presented by Miami Valley AAA. In conjunction with the Concours, the Marmon Club will hold its 29th Marmon Muster in Dayton. The Concours will be held on Sunday, Sept. 20, while the Marmon Muster will run Sept. 19-23.
The Dayton Concours weekend will kick off the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 19, with a driving tour and visit to a local automotive museum for Concours participants.
Saturday evening will feature a casual party, open to the public, on the grounds of Carillon Historical Park, offering a preview of automobiles, an automotive art pavilion, live music, food and beverages. Saturday evening’s Preview Party will be held from 6:30 to 11 p.m. Cost is $65 per person; reservations are required.
