The sixth annual Voss Honda Child Safety Day is here. Once again Voss Honda is sponsoring Child Safety Day. Last year we gave away over an amazing 360 children bicycle helmets, countless hot dogs, refreshments, and two kids bicycles. Last years event included an impressive crash test simulator, entertaining beer goggles and numerous local safety equipment including a fire truck, ambulances and police cars for the kids to check out up close and personal. The fun loving ‘Gitta’, our local hero of the Tipp City Police Department K9 force, and partner Sgt. G. Adkins even made a welcomed appearance.
This year promises to be an even greater event. Joining us this year will be ‘Heater’ from the Dayton Dragons, Tipp City K-9 Officer Greg Adkins and his partner ‘Gitta’ will be here again with the Tipp City Police Department, Miami County’s Sheriffs Department, Local EMS, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Dare, Red Cross and if possible
Care Flight may even stop by.
We will be giving away another boys and a girls bicycle in a drawing which can be registered for by each boy and girl being properly fitted for a bicycle helmet.
By the way, there might even be a few surprise guests throughout the day, but you will have to come enjoy the festivities to find out who they are!
