16TH ANNUAL BRITISH CAR SHOW, "BRITISH CARS AT THE 'BURG", 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Riverfront Park, Miamisburg. Hosted by British Transportation Museum. Spectators free. Car registration limited to first 100 cars, vehicle entry fee $15 before May 12, $18 thereafter. Door prizes, 50/50, silent auction, children's area. 16TH ANNUAL CORVETTE JUDGING MEET, held by the Miami Valley Chapter of the National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS), judging starts at 9 a.m., indoors at Voss Chevrolet Collision Center, 100 Loop Road, Centerville. Open to the public. Come see firsthand how Corvettes are judged. Cars registered for NCRS flight judging will be judged on both originality and condition. Cars registered for NCRS concours judging will be judged only on condition, not necessarily on originality.

Cars being flight judged will receive a top flight blue ribbon award (94-100 percent original condition), a second flight red ribbon award (85-93.9 percent original condition), or a third flight white ribbon award (75-84.9 percent original condition). Cars being concours judged for condition only, not necessary for originality, will receive either a blue ribbon (94-100 percent) or a red ribbon (85-93.9 percent). No award will be given for cars scoring below 85 percent when being concours judged. Owners of Corvettes being judged must be a member of NCRS and must register at NCRS.org.

AUTO CROSS SOLO EVENT,

Kil-Kare Speedway, 1166 Dayton-Xenia Road, Beavercreek. New racers encouraged to participate. Registration 9 to 10 a.m., drivers’ meeting 10:05 a.m. (walk track prior), FCO 10:15 a.m. (10 timed runs). Valid driver’s license, Snell 2005 or newer helmet required. Open to all makes and models. 41ST CINCINNATI CONCOURS D'ELEGANCE AT AULT PARK, featuring mid-century modern American cars, plus honored collectors Judge Joseph and Margie Cassini of Llewellyn Park, New Jersey. The Cassini Collection has twice won Best of Show at Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. Four of the Cassini Collection's award-winning automobiles will be displayed, including a 1931 Duesenberg Model J Tourister by Derham – one of eight built on the Model J chassis. Andy Granatelli once owned it. A 1931 Stutz DV-32 Convertible Victoria by LeBaron is believed to be the only one in existence. A 1961 Ferrari 250 GT Cabriolet Series II, one of only 200 built featuring coachwork by Pininfarina. And finally, a 1927 Isotta Fraschini Tipo 8A S Roadster by Fleetwood. The "Valentino Roadster" was custom-built for silent screen heartthrob Rudolph Valentino, who died before delivery.
