TRENDING STORY: Restaurant to close in Springfield after three decades
The farm, located at 6880 Springfield-Xenia Road, has several specials planned for their stores and entertainment venues, as well as their on-site restaurant, the Golden Jersey Inn. Visitors to the farm can enjoy favorites like single-dip ice cream cones and cheeseburgers for $1.49 during the event.
Young’s was founded in 1869 when relatives of the Young family built the location’s famous red barn. The family began selling fresh milk to the public in 1958, and from then on, expanded the farm to include an ice cream parlor, a full restaurant, and several entertainment venues, including miniature golf and batting cages.
The farm has won several awards from the local community and was recently honored as the best location in the state of Ohio for ice cream by Ohio Magazine. It's one of the region's largest tourist attractions.
