September heat waves comes to an end

The heat wave of September in the Miami Valley has come to an end, StormCenter 7 Meteorologist Brett Collar said.

For five straight days between Sept. 3rd and Sept. 7th, the Dayton International Airport hit at least 90. This marked the hottest streak in September in over 76 years in the Miami Valley.

This all came to an end on Tuesday, Sept. 8th when the high was only 89 degrees. From here, temperatures look to continue to drop. Some areas here in the Miami Valley may even see some upper 40s first thing Saturday morning.
