The prime time for windy conditions is between 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. for most spots, NWS said.
It is recommended to secure loose outdoor items like umbrellas and trash cans, NWS said. People should also be cautious while driving high-profile vehicles.

Gusts will start to subside this evening into tonight. The winds will subside to 10 mph around midnight, NWS said.
The highs will be in the upper 50s and the lows will be in the upper 30s.
Additional showers may occur before 8 p.m. with less than a tenth of an inch possible. Despite the wet and windy conditions of today, tonight will be much more quieter with cloudy skies and calmer winds ranging from 5 to 14 mph.
Monday will stay relatively dry and mostly cloudy with a high near 48 degrees. The overnight will be mostly cloudy as well with temperatures falling in the upper 30s.
A mostly cloudy day is set in store for Tuesday with highs in the upper 50s.
Tuesday night will see a 90% chance of rain showers. The low will fall around 45 degrees.
More rain showers may be possible before 1 p.m. on Wednesday with otherwise mostly cloudy skies. The high will be in the upper 50s again.
A mostly sunny day is likely to occur Thursday which provides a respite from all the rain earlier in the week. Temperatures will start dropping down again with the highs reaching upper 30′s.
The overnight will be partly cloudy, with a low around 27 degrees.
