- Clouds move in tonight
- Rainy and windy Monday afternoon
- First cold shot of the year arrives mid-week
Monday: Much warmer air pumps in from the south as a low pressure system approaches. Rain showers will arrive in the late afternoon hours and last through the evening. High temperatures will climb into the mid 50s with wind gusts as high as 30 mph by the afternoon.
Tuesday: Temperatures will start off quite warm in the morning and afternoon before a cold front begins to cool Dayton off towards sunset. Highs will reach the lower 50s with winds 15 to 20 mph and gusts up to 30 to 35 mph. There’s a small chance for a few showers as well.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, blustery and cold. A few passing rain or snow showers are possible as the northwest winds may pick up some moisture off of the Great Lakes. Highs for the day in the lower 30s.
Thursday: Morning low temperatures could fall into the teens with high pressure overhead, then partly cloudy and colder. Highs near 32 degrees.
Friday: Mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance for a flurry throughout the day. Once again, lows could start in the teens before temperatures rebound into the mid 30s.
