Light snow accumulations are possible by daybreak Friday.
The chance of snow and/or rain will continue through the day on Friday. Temperatures are expected to remain around freezing with wind gusts as high as 24 mph possible.
Friday night is expected to be the coldest of the new year with an overnight low around 21 degrees. Skies will start mostly cloudy but gradually clear.
It will be sunny with a high near 35 degrees Saturday. Skies stay mostly clear overnight, which will have a low around 24 degrees.
Sunday will be partly sunny and warmer with a high near 41 degrees. Overnight will be mostly cloudy with low temperatures around freezing.
There is a chance of snow showers before daybreak on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, followed by a chance of rain and snow showers between 8 and 10 a.m. with only rain after 10 a.m. Otherwise, it will be mostly cloudy and warmer with a high near 47 degrees. Showers remain likely Monday night, which will be cloudy with an overnight low around 44 degrees.
The high temperature is expected to push back into the 50s for the rest of the week.
