Curtis made the announcement Monday on Twitter.
Curtis, a 6-foot-4 guard, appeared in the first eight games for Nebraska (4-4), averaging 6.1 minutes and 1.8 points.
Curtis signed with Nebraska in May after previously verbally committing to Xavier and then Cincinnati. He changed his mind about the first two programs after they lost their head coaches.
Curtis was Ohio's Mr. Basketball in 2019. He averaged 33.8 points per game as a senior. He scored a school-record 2,109 points in his career.
