Wright State baseball clinches HL title, will host tournament

Due to weather related cancellations last weekend, Wright State’s victory against Milwaukee on Saturday at Miller Park enabled the Raiders to clinch the Horizon League regular season title, which means they will host the conference tournament at Nischwitz Stadium.

It’s the ninth time WSU has won a regular-season championship, and sixth time as a member of the Horizon League.

The Raiders have four games remaining in the regular season, beginning today at Bowling Green. The final HL series of the year kicks off Thursday at Fifth Third Field against Northern Kentucky.

Free tickets will be available at the box office Thursday.
