Williams returns to Bengals practice, another starter turns up ill

Cincinnati Bengals safety Shawn Williams return to practice Thursday after sitting out Wednesday with a hamstring injury.

The Bengals listed Williams as a limited participant.

The only other change from Wednesday was starting cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick sat out with an illness.

Also missing practice were kicker Randy Bullock (back), running back Jeremy Hill (ankle), linebacker Kevin Minter (elbow) and defensive tackle Pat Sims (calf), all of whom also sat out Wednesday.

Wide receiver Tyler Boyd (knee), linebacker Vontaze Burfict (thigh), defensive end Michael Johnson (back), wide receiver Brandon LaFell (hamstring) and defensive end Chris Smith (ankle) all were limited for the second day in a row.
