Williams played his first three seasons for the Dayton Flyers. He’s one of three players who were part of Dayton’s 2015 recruiting class who are finishing their careers elsewhere. Ryan Mikesell is the only player in that class who remains at UD.
Here’s a quick glance at the other two players:
John Crosby: Like Williams, he left Dayton after the 2017-18 season and had to sit out one season before playing his final season. As a fifth-year senior at Delaware State, he's averaging a team-best 21.8 points per game.
Delaware State is 2-14. It won its second game Saturday, beating North Carolina Central 68-66. Crosby hit a game-winning jump shot at the buzzer.

Sam Miller: After playing for Archie Miller's last two teams at Dayton, Miller was suspended for the first semester of the 2017-18 season and then transferred to the College Charleston in January 2018. He debuted for Charleston in December 2018 and averaged 4.7 points in 22 games last season.
This season, as a fifth-year senior, Miller is averaging a career-high 7.4 points and 6.0 rebounds. He has started the last eight games. Charleston is 11-7.
