Urbana men upset Yellow Jackets

URBANA — Urbana University freshman Robert Wilson scored a game-high 22 points and T.R. Ellis added 19 points as the Blue Knights used a second-half surge to defeat Cedarville University 88-71 in men’s basketball action at the Grimes Center on Thursday, Feb. 4.

Urbana (12-10) went on a 34-19 run in the final 13:16 of the contest to register its third straight win. The NAIA Division II No. 18 Yellow Jackets had a six-game winning streak snapped.

Ricardo Alliman had 19 points and 14 rebounds, and Chris Beals chipped in 18 points for Cedarville. The Yellow Jackets (16-8) defeated the Blue Knights 97-75 at the Callan Athletic Center back on Jan. 9.
