The Reds scored their first run on a Scott Schebler homer in the fourth, and they added another run in the eighth on a solo shot by Patrick Kivlehan.
The Reds and Louisville Bats played to a 1-1 tie in Louisville on Friday night.
Cincinnati is set to host the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday at 4:10 p.m. at Great American Ball Park.
