Springfield at Wayne tickets all presale; no passes

Due to a high demand for tickets for Springfield’s boys basketball game at Wayne on Friday there are several changes from normal game policies.

All tickets must be purchased in advance from either school’s athletic department; no tickets will be sold on Friday night at Wayne. In addition, no Greater Western Ohio Conference athletic passes will be accepted.

Springfield has an allotment of 500 tickets, which will go on sale on Tuesday morning at the athletic office.

There will be no freshman game on Friday. The JV contest will start at 5 p.m., and the varsity game will follow with a scheduled start time of 6:30.

Springfield (15-2) leads the GWOC National East Division at 8-1 and defeated visiting Wayne 67-55 on Jan. 13. That was one of three consecutive losses for Wayne (14-6), which is second in the National East at 7-3.
