HS Roundup 1/10: Harrison scores 27 in National Trail win

Cameron Harrison poured in 27 points, Zach Woodall added 12 and National Trail cruised to a 54-36 win versus Covington in Friday night boys basketball.

Trail got off to a hot start, building a double-digit lead by half to roll to 11-1 overall and 6-0 in league play.

Kadin Presser put up 11 points for Covington.

Alter 45, Badin 42: Brady Uhl scored 13 points and Alter held on late to win a ninth straight game. Spencer Giesting chipped in 10 points for Badin.

Butler 38, Tippecanoe 36: Tyler Montague drained a three-point shot at the buzzer to give Butler the edge.

Centerville 53, Lebanon 44: Rich Rolf paced Centerville with 13 points and Gabe Cupps and Tom House added nine apiece.

CHCA 74, New Miami 54: Jordan Robinette posted 21 points and Deanza Duncan 14 in the loss for New Miami.

Coldwater 44, Minster 42: Noah Miller drained a pair of foul shots to put Coldwater ahead in the closing seconds.

Delphos SJ’s 53, Fort Recovery 47, OT: Brady Parrish put up 18 points and DSJ improved to 10-0. Clay Schmitz and Regan Martin each had 13 points for Fort Recovery.

Emmanuel Christian 49, Troy Christian 39: Fred Shropshire scored 17 of his 21 points in the second half and Emmanuel Christian handed Troy Christian its first loss in conference play. Isaac Gray led Troy Christian with 18 points.

Fort Loramie 69, Fairlawn 64, OT: Nate Meyer finished with 23 points and Caeleb Meyer added 14 to lead Fort Loramie. Ashton Piper had 28 points for Fairlawn.

Franklin 76, Eaton 73: Zack Minton chipped in 19 points to pace Franklin, which improved to 9-1, in a rally win. Trevor Long led Eaton with 22 points.

Greeneview 51, West Liberty-Salem 45: Gabe Caudill led the way for Greeneview with 23 points. Jack Eggleston had 12 points for WLS.

Greenon 64, Fairbanks 51: Mason Potter put up 16 points, Cade Rice added 15 and Jaden Journell 10 to lead Greenon.

Jackson Center 47, Russia 29: Clay Akers scored nine of his 15 points in the fourth quarter to lead Jackson Center. Aidan Reichert added 12 points.

Kenton Ridge 48, Springfield Shawnee 45: Collin Perkins tallied a career-high 21 points to pace Kenton Ridge. Isaac Siemon scored 19 points for Shawnee.

Lakota East 34, Hamilton 32: Alex Mangold chipped in 19 points with 12 rebounds to pace Lakota East. Ke’von Burnett scored 12 points for Hamilton.

Lehman Catholic 31, Hardin Northern 25: Brendan O’Leary netted 12 points, Luke Frantz 10 and Justin Chapman hauled in 10 rebounds to lead Lehman Catholic.

Mason 43, Lakota West 41: Alex Afari had 12 points with eight rebounds for Lakota West but Mason went on a 12-4 run in the final quarter to take the lead.

Miamisburg 58, Beavercreek 53: Anthony Coppock chipped in 21 points and Colin Murphy 14 for ‘Burg. Yousef Saleh led ‘Creek with 16 points and Chris Herbort tacked on 12.

Middletown 50, Sycamore 44: Will Williams recorded 18 points, Rob Thompson 16 and Johrdon Mumford 12 for Middletown.

Mississinawa Valley 57, Franklin Monroe 52, OT: Blake Scholl totaled 19 points, Max Dirmeyer 12 and Cody Dirksen 11 for MV. FM was led by Aidan Luchini with 19 points.

Newton 53, Bradford 43: Ross Ferrell and Hudson Montgomery led the way for Newton with 10 points apiece.

Preble Shawnee 77, Madison 60: Sam Agee poured in 31 points to pace Preble Shawnee.

Purcell Marian 48, Chaminade Julienne 45: Jared Baldock finished with 14 points for Purcell Marian. A.J. Solomon scored 11 points to lead CJ.

Ross 52, Talawanda 35: Cole Gronas tallied 13 points, C.J. Boze 11 and Sam Nunn 10 as Ross poured in 29 points in the final quarter to pull away for its fifth consecutive win.

Springboro 60, Fairmont 52: Willieon Yates recorded 16 points and Noah Moser 13 for ‘Boro, which rallied from a 10-point deficit at the half for the win.

Stivers 88, Phoenix International 24: DaJuan Allen chipped in 31 points, Brendan Crump added 15 and Antonnio Aubrey and Ivynn Spears tacked on 14 apiece for Stivers.

St. Henry 53, New Bremen 41: Riley Link recorded 18 points, Matt Bertke added 14 and Jackson Heath hauled in 11 rebounds for St. Henry. Reece Busse paced New Bremen with 14 points.

St. Marys 54, Van Wert 39: LeTrey Williams tallied 18 points and St. Marys won a fifth consecutive game.

Tecumseh 76, Bellefontaine 55: Easton Lewis exploded for 30 points, Collin O’Connor added 14 and Tyler Dysinger 13 for Tecumseh, which snapped a six-game losing skid.

Trotwood 77, Wayne 73: Trotwood went on a 15-6 run in the second half to take control, winning a seventh straight and handing Wayne a second consecutive loss.

Troy 60, Piqua 47: Austin Stanaford led four players in double-digit scoring for Troy with 12 points. Jaden Owens, Tre Archie and Shaeden Olden each added 11. Devon Sever scored 11 points for Piqua.

Xenia 63, Fairborn 57: Dylan Hoosier tallied 19 points, Shawn Thigpen 15 and Isaiah Hoyt 10 for Xenia. Dwight Lewis led Fairborn with 23 points.
