The game swayed in DSJ’s favor first, leading St. Peter’s 12-10 at the end of the first quarter. St. Peter’s fought back and a 13-11 second quarter had St. Peter’s leading by four at the half.
St. Peter’s held onto their momentum in the third quarter, topping DSJ 32-28, but a fourth quarter push by Delphos SJ’s ended St. Peter’s season with a 44-43 DSJ win.
Delphos SJ’s will play Luthern East in the first round of the state tournament at the Schottenstein Center in Columbus on March 23 at 5:15 p.m.
