No baseball doesn’t mean no roster moves.

The Reds on Sunday optioned catcher Tyler Stephenson and pitcher Jose De Leon to Triple-A Louisville.

»ASK HAL: Reds most important acquisition this offseason?

Stephenson, 23, was hitting .375 this spring in 22 plate appearances. He is a former Dayton Dragon. De Leon allowed two runs in only 2 2/3 innings of work.

The moves leave the Reds with 48 players on the major league spring training camp roster. Spring training, of course, was shut down late last week by MLB because of the coronavirus pandemic.
