10 Ohio State Buckeyes invited to NFL Combine

Ohio State football will be well-represented at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine.

Ten Buckeyes are among the players invited to work out for NFL teams in Indianapolis on Feb. 26-March 4.

The one who draws the most attention is likely to be Nick Bosa. Not only is the All-American defensive end among the candidates to be the No. 1 overall pick, he will also be showing how well he has recovered from surgery to repair a core muscle injury that wiped out most of his junior season for the Buckeyes.

Fellow defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones is also a potential first-round pick, and he will be in Indy as well.

The only other defensive player form Ohio State, cornerback Kendall Sheffield, may be the Buckeye with the most to gain as he contributed to a disappointing season in the secondary but will be looking to show off his sprinter’s speed.

From the other side of the ball, quarterback Dwayne Haskins and three of his top targets — receivers Johnnie Dixon, Parris Campbell and Terry McLaurin — received invites, as did running back Mike Weber and offensive linemen Isaiah Prince and Michael Jordan.
