Myles Garrett rejoined the Cleveland Browns active roster Wednesday as he was reinstated by the NFL, the team announced.

Garrett was suspended indefinitely after hitting Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph with a helmet during a game Nov. 14 in Pittsburgh. Garrett missed the final six games of the regular season after his appeal of the suspension was denied.

According to the Browns, Garrett met with NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell on Monday at the NFL headquarters in New York City. The reinstatement allows him to participate in offseason workouts.
