His evaluation requires a full load of 2018 tape, where his coverage potential was better illustrated. He transitions with instinctive eyes and plays physically against tight ends."
Elliott, a 6-4, 315-pound redshirt junior from Missouri City, Texas, was named a first-team All-American by Pro Football Focus last fall. He played his freshman season at Texas in 2016 and then transferred to Missouri and sat out the 2017 season. He was the 88th overall selection.
The 6-3, 229-pound Phillips, who’s from Nashville, Tenn., was a two-year starter who led LSU in tackles in 2019.
