Milton-Union names Winchester boys soccer coach

Todd Winchester has been approved as the Milton-Union High School boys varsity soccer coach. The Milton board of education finalized his hiring during Monday’s meeting.

A 1986 Northmont grad, Winchester has coached the Northmont boys reserve B team the past three seasons. Previously was coached numerous Dayton Gunner FC youth teams.

“My vision is to deliver championship caliber teams that are excellent in all aspects,” Winchester said in a statement. “I will strive to prepare each student-athlete to be successful on the soccer field, in the classroom and the community.

According to the Ohio Scholastic Soccer Coaches Association website, the Bulldogs were 3-9-2 last season.

“Coach Winchester’s love of the game and skill set of fundamentals, organization and enthusiasm will be a tremendous asset to our program,” AD Tom Koogler said. “We are very glad to have him on board.”
