Drue LeMaster fired an 81 and Quinton Yocom shot an 83 for Triad, which finished with a 10-0 OHC record in the regular season.
Cedarville’s Jordan Reese was second with a 77.
• Tecumseh need a fifth-man tiebreaker to win its first-ever Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail Division tournament title and finish first overall in the CBC tournament at Snyder Park.
The Arrows and Shawnee both finished with scores of 311. Tecumseh’s fifth golfer Patrick Snarr shot an 87 while the Braves’ Jake King finished with an 88.
Scott Rogers was second in the Kenton Trail with a 74, Kyle Jeffers was tied for fifth (77), Brad Rogers was tied for ninth (79) and Cam Wardley carded a 81 for Tecumseh.
Clark Engle was tied for third with a 76, Derek Tincher was tied for fifth (77), Evan Lyons was tied for seventh (78) and Jeff Hall had an 80 for Shawnee.
Kenton Ridge’s Clay Portz was overall medalist with a 73 and Luke Schilcher was tied for third with a 76 as the Cougars were third with a score of 315.
Greenon won their second-straight Mad River Division tournament title with a season-low score of 312, which was six strokes better than second-place Benjamin Logan. The Raiders won the overall CBC Mad River Division title by two points.
Clay Robinson was medalist of the Mad River Division with a 74. Chad Gerlach was tied for third with Northwestern’s Tyler Marton and Urbana’s Derek Cobb with a 78. Dylan Anderson and Sam Klarer were both tied for eighth with 80s.
Girls golf
Graham clinched their third straight CBC Mad River Division title and finished first overall in the CBC Tournament at Lakeland Golf Course.
Jessie Jordan was overall medalist with a course-record score of 71. Erika Back was tied for second in the Mad River with an 84. The Falcons finished with a score of 331 which was 67 strokes better than second-place Benjamin Logan. Greenon’s Haley Larson was also second (84) and Harley Larson shot a 99 as the Knights were third (421).
Kenton Ridge’s Paige McCrary tied for third in the Kenton Trail with a 84. The Cougars placed second in the Kenton Trail with a 400. Tippecanoe (333) won the Kenton Trail.
• Catholic Central won the OHC Tournament with a score of 452. Greeneview’s Haley Horsley was medalist with a 96.
Volleyball
Becca Poppel had a big game with 10 kills and Makenzie Laase added 19 assists as Urbana (9-2, 4-1 CBC) got back to its winning ways with a 25-18, 25-17, 25-18 win over Bellefontaine.
• Host Cedarville picked up its first OHC win of the season by defeating Mechanicsburg 25-22, 25-17, 27-25. Kalie Smith spiked seven kills and Katherine Kohl added 18 digs for the Indians (2-11,1-7 OHC).
• Sarah Allen had 19 kills and 15 digs, but it wasn’t enough as Indian Lake outlasted Kenton Ridge (6-9, 2-3 CBC) 25-19, 19-25, 27-25, 26-24.
• Brittanee Dewine had 12 kills and three blocks and Kacie Whalen added 16 digs as Catholic Central (7-7, 6-2 OHC) evened its record and stayed in a second-place tie in the OHC with a 25-15, 25-7, 23-25, 25-12 win over Northeastern.
Girls tennis
Molly Parker’s 6-2, 4-6, 7-5 win at third singles was the difference as Northeastern improved to 9-4 with a 3-2 win over London. Lauren Davy and the second doubles team of Sarah Flach and Amber Blanton also won for the Jets.
Girls soccer
Greeneview and Catholic Central played to a 0-0 tie in a battle for first place in the OHC. Anna Nock had three saves for the Rams (5-0-5, 3-0-2 OHC).
Morgan Weber had seven saves for Central (5-3-3, 3-0-2).
• Jessica Rebert had the hat trick and added three assists as Northeastern (4-6, 4-3 OHC) beat Triad 6-2. Megan Simpson added two goals and an assist for the Jets.
