Shawnee’s Grace Seibert runner-up at state swim meet

Shawnee’s Grace Seibert notched a runner-up finish Friday in the Division II state swimming and diving championships.

Seibert, a junior, tied for second in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1 minute, 4.20 seconds at C.T. Branin Natatorium in Canton.

Northeastern sophomore Laramie Reed placed eighth in the same event.

Junior Olivia Chick of Yellow Springs finished third in the 100 freestyle and fifth in the 200 freestyle.

The Division I finals are set for 4 p.m. Saturday.
