Webb qualified in the 400 (third, 51.79), Peoples in the 200 (third, 2:01.3) and Kevin Stewart in the 3,200 (fourth, 10:12.06).
Mechanicsburg finished with 73 points. Twin Valley South won the meet with a 92.5 total.
Yellow Springs’ 800 relay of Mario Cosey, Logan Norris-Sayres, Josh Meadows and Chris Johnson set a district record with a time of 1:31.36. Cosey also won district titles in the 100 (11.24) and the 200 (22.75).
Logan Norris-Sayres qualified in the 200 (fourth, 23.4), Will Ripley in the high jump (third, 6 feet) and Antone Truss won a jump off to move on in the high jump (fourth, 5-9).
Cedarville’s Tony Parrett won the district title in the 800 in 1:59.50. The Indians’ 1,600 relay of Parrett, Luke Sheridan, Billy Vine and Zeke Young also advanced (third, 3:33.48). Nathan Miller qualified in the 110 hurdles (fourth, 16.96), Young in the 400 (second, 51.09), Vine in the 800 (third, 2:01.3) and Sheridan in the high jump (second, 6-0).
Southeastern’s Austin Mercer advanced in the 110 hurdles (second, 15.93) and the 300 hurdles (second, 41.37) and Jordan Timmons in the shot put (third, 42-7.5).
Catholic Central’s Dimitrious Dimitroff qualified in the 100, beating out the Bulldogs’ Norris-Sayres by .03 seconds for the final spot (fourth, 11.61).
In the girls meet, Cedarville’s Katie Bunker won the district title in the 800, breaking her old district mark of 2:18.43 with a time of 2:16.79. The Indians’ 1,600 relay of Mackenzie McMahan, Emily Sheridan, Samantha Boeck and Bunker also advanced (third, 4:18.85). Karyn Zaage qualified in the 3,200 (second, 12:04.49) and McMahan in the long jump (second, 16-4). Cedarville finished with 61 points. Miami Valley won the team title with 129 points.
Other area regional qualifiers were Southeastern’s Marie Egbert in the 1,600 (third, 5:42.35), Yellow Springs’ Lois Miller in the 3,200 (third, 12:17.70) and Catholic Central’s Brittanee DeWine in the shot put (third, 29-6.5).
At the Division II Dayton meet, Greeneview’s Shaytell Furman qualified for regionals in the 100 (fourth, 12.77) and the long jump (second, 17-7), and Ellen Frescoln in the shot put (second, 34-4).
