The win sets up a battle with fellow unbeaten Tippecanoe during the regular season’s final week on Friday for the Central Buckeye Conference Kenton Trail Division title.
Jalen Nelson had 28 carries for 218 yards and two touchdowns for Shawnee. He scored on a 1-yard run in the first quarter, then again on an 8-yard run in the third.
Saalih Muhammad had 26 carries for 134 yards and three touchdowns. He scored twice in the second — the first on an 8-yard run, the second on a 5-yard run. He scored again in the fourth on a 9-yard run. Clay Phillips also had a rushing score for Shawnee.
Mason Dyer had two rushing touchdowns for Stebbins.
Triad 33, West Liberty-Salem 29: Triad totaled 461 yards on offense and put the game away when Trent McIntyre rushed for a 1-yard run with four minutes left in the third quarter.
McIntyre was 10-of-25 passing for 201 yards and two interceptions. He rushed 24 times for 174 yards and had four total touchdowns.
Brandon Upton was 11-of-27 passing for 124 yards and three interceptions for West Liberty. Taylor Cordell had 20 carries for 79 yards and three touchdowns.
Mechanicsburg 44, Northeastern 27: Aeryton Erwin rushed for 301 yards for Mechanicsburg, breaking the single-game school record of 292 set by Tyler Martin against Ridgemont in 1999. Kaleb Romero had 124 yards and a touchdown.
Drey Williams led Northeastern with 98 yards rushing.
Bellefontaine 19, Tecumseh 7: Jordan Baughman led Bellefontaine with three touchdowns. He scored his second on a 3-yard run in the third quarter to give Bellefontaine the lead.
Christian Evans had a 16-yard touchdown run for Tecumseh.
Cedarville 56, Catholic Central 8: Cedarville put the game away with 42 points in the second quarter.
Caleb Coe had four rushing touchdowns for Cedarville, including a 56-yard touchdown run and a 31-yard touchdown run, both in the second quarter.
Dalton Ary had two touchdowns, including a 30-yard fumble return. Adam Cain had two touchdown runs.
Ryan Fair had a 2-yard touchdown run for Catholic Central.
