Before the Alliance of American Football folded, he played with the Orlando Apollos and scored the league’s first touchdown. Prior to taking the opportunity with the Apollos, Marshall was preparing to return to school at Ohio State, where he still plans to finish a degree in journalism, he said.

He last played with the New York Jets during the 2016 season. In 10 games, he caught 14 passes for 162 yards and two scores.
