Trotwood-Madison (Division III) of the Greater Western Ohio Conference will make its eighth state title appearance and seventh since 2010. As impressive as that is, Midwest Athletic Conference power Marion Local (D-VII) will be playing in its ninth consecutive state-title game.

Joining those two area heavyweights another MAC rep, Anna (D-VI). This the first time for the Rockets to play for a state title after winning just two playoff games prior to this season.
