So, football starts tonight, and we’re wondering if you’re going to watch?

It’s not looking like a clash of titans, but NFL football will officially return tonight -- sort of -- when the Dallas Cowboys and Arizona Cardinals open the preseason with a game in Canton Ohio as a pre-text to this weekend’s induction ceremonies at the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Will you watch?

Typically, teams in this game don’t play starters very long or in some cases at all.

Chances are, most of the action in tonight’s will be provided by players who won’t make the cut when it comes time to whittle NFL rosters from 90 to 53 players, but, hey, it’s been six months since anybody played ball and this figures to be a fair approximation of the real thing, right?

If you want to watch, the Hall of Fame Game will be on NBC at 8 p.m.

By the way, in his only season with the Bengals, Terrell Owens wasn't bad. In 2010 he caught 72 passes for 983 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games.
