ESPN 30 for 30's 'Believeland' set for premier

"Believeland," an ESPN 30 for 30 documentary will headline the Cleveland International Fim Festival's 4oth anniversary event March 31.

The documentary, the latest in the critically-acclaimed and popular 30 for 30 series, follows the travails of Cleveland sports teams and fans since the 1960s when the city last won a major league sports championship. The film will showcase local fans and their experiences through sporting debacles such as The Drive, The Fumble, The Shot and The Decision.

The film is directed by Andrew Billman, a University of Toledo graduate and Ohio native that has worked extensively as a producer on ESPN sports films, according to IMDB.com.

According to Cleveland.com, nearly every living sports legend from the city is interviewed, including Jim Thome, Tom Hamilton, Jim Brown and Jim Donovan.
