Former Dayton Flyers forward Devin Oliver won the league championship in his first season in Slovenia.

Oliver’s team, Union Olimpija, beat Rogaska 94-78 on Wednesday to win the best-of-five series 3-1. It was Union Olimpija’s first title in eight years. Oliver had 18 points and 7 rebounds in the final game.

"Honored and grateful to be apart of this organization and team,” Oliver wrote on Instagram. “Hell of a way to end this year. WE MADE HISTORY! WINNING IS IN MY DNA! All glory be to God!”

Oliver played against former Xavier rival Dee Davis in the championship series. Davis scored 29 points in the final game for Rogaska.

Oliver will next team up with former Dayton teammates Vee Sanford and Dyshawn Pierre in The Basketball Tournament.
